A place for experimental baking and bread
On Torggatan in Varberg, Daniel Larsson has opened the doors to his concept, Dan Bakstudio, for anyone who appreciates the craft of sourdough, bread, and pastries. A large volume of different breads is baked here, both supplied to other businesses and sold in the shop. Much of the bread is prepared on the large stone slab in front of the guests on site. According to the website, the aim is not to be a traditional bakery or café, but rather an experimental playground for exploring bread and baking in new and exciting ways. Here, you are guaranteed to learn something new about bread and what can be created with it.

For this beautiful and open bakery studio, we were given the great assignment of delivering Revent proofing cabinets and a bakery oven, a dough sheeter, as well as all stainless steel furnishings for the bakery and dishwashing area. Bakery freezers adapted for baking trays from Haglund Industri, and a cold room from Coolpart including shelving systems. Out in the studio, ovens, an induction hob, and a bench-integrated extraction fan from Gaggenau were installed, along with refrigerated counters from Haglund Industri and a display fridge from Costilla. In the dishwashing area, a Wexiödisk WD10S utensil washer with inserts for baking trays was installed, as well as a WD4S undercounter dishwasher.
