Food and accommodation in historic building
In Oscar I:s Memoriam, a historic building from 1875 on Björngårdsgatan in Stockholm, you now find the Stockholm City Hotel with its 32 hotel rooms and suites, bar and two restaurants. Saunas and cold baths are also on the menu. The hotel is run by the successful French Express team, which previously also have Café Nizza, Babette and Tengu in their portfolio. Food is served from breakfast to evening in the Bistro, dinner in the Dining Room on the upper level of the restored chapel and crafted cocktails in the bar. Ingredients in season, both classics and new twists with inspiration from both Sweden and the Mediterranean. Luxurious rooms with beds from Dux, exclusive organic duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels as well as laundry products in the bathrooms with custom scents in collaboration with Stora Skuggan fragrance studio.
Perfecta Storkök and Mikael Nyström have been our supplier of kitchen equipment for about 10 years. The most recent and undoubtedly the biggest project was building three kitchens in Stockholm Stadshotell and Perfecta was, as always, a responsive and accommodating partner that leaves nothing to chance.

For this exciting project, we delivered three different kitchens on different floors. On the entrance floor the large service kitchen for the Bistro, a prep kitchen with bakery in the basement and a studio kitchen on the upper floor. Cocking toplines throughout from Palux, ovens from Rational and two black custom charcoal grills. Wine coolers in the dining room and the studio kitchen, all refrigerated counters in the kitchen and bars plus the sink at the tap station in the upper dining room from Haglund Industri. Dishwashers from Winterhalter, ice machines from Hoshizaki. and heat lamps from Stayhot. Here we also delivered the tops in Carrara marble for the arrangé and the studio kitchen.
