about the project
A vibrant Mediterranean brasserie at Vasaplatsen
In the building crafted in an exotic Renaissance style in Vasastan, Gothenburg, Brasserie Voyage has moved in with a concept and interior that fit the neighborhood like a glove. The restaurant offers 100 seats indoors and another 100 on the sunny seasonal outdoor terrace, and serves lunch on weekends. Here, the Mediterranean kitchen is reinterpreted, bringing together the finest flavors of French and Italian cuisine, complemented by highlights from Greece and Spain. A curated selection of wines and handcrafted cocktails can be enjoyed in the dining room or in Bar Voyage, located in an adjoining chambre séparée. Behind the concept is the Sunshine Restaurant Group, known for the acclaimed Botánico and Magic Flamingo.

Custom stainless-steel bar modules
At Voyage, there are two bars - both equipped with custom stainless-steel bar modules mounted on bar refrigeration counters with integrated stainless-steel handles, as well as custom sinks with built-in glass and shaker rinsers. The wine storage includes one wall-integrated wine fridge and one under-counter unit in the dining room, both supplied by Haglund Industri. The espresso setup features a two-group EX3 machine with a matching grinder from Crem. In the kitchen, a cooking line from Berto’s was installed, including a stove, grill, and pasta cooker for city gas. Additional equipment includes a FriFri deep fryer, gas-powered ovens from Rational, and a salamander from Palux. The stainless-steel fabrication includes a reinforced heat-resistant countertop in the pass and heat lamps from Stayhot. We also supplied the cold room and freezer room with saddle-mounted units, along with refrigerators and freezers from Gemm. Ice machines for both cube and crushed ice were provided by NTF and Hoshizaki.
